As every body knows toilet is a dirty area, in earlier days toilet/bathroom was not available in the houses, but modern life has no answer to it. One should maintain perfect hygine and cleanliness.
Toilets should not be made in Northeast corners it is a severe vaastu offence, it brings disastrous health issues, accidents, problems in progeny and also brings unneccassary tensions. North east is a very pious place and owned by the Lord Siva, Northeast is occupied by Vaastupurush’s forehead. So one should never place the toilet/bathroom here.
Toilets in the Southeast area is also a problem in vaastu sense.The inmates of the building sturcture which has southeast toilet bear unexpected losses, unexpected problems, leagal issues, taxation problems, accidents with electricity and problems in elctricity gadjets.Southeast is owned by Lord agnidev, the place is good for fire activities, Sun is also at its peak in this direction. So creating water activities out here is not good, and again toilet is not a pious area , lord agni is not pleased that way.
Toilet in the southwest is also not good. The inmates bear lots of financial issues, losses, unneccassary expenses. Saving part is missing in case of the southwest toilets. South west is the area where the magnetic energy is stored, there should be no drainage in this area.
The toilet seats should be kept that way that one should not face the sun while using it.
Toilet Should not be made under the stairs. In the same ways the toilet is not at all good in the centre area of the building structure.
Toilet should not be made near the puja room, the kitchen etc, the pooja room and the kitchen above the toilet is not at all vaastu friendly. Only a toilet is permissible above the other toilet.
The slopes of the toilet should be towards the northeast direction.
The water sources like tap and the showers should be on the north walls of the toilet. One should face north while taking the bath. Wash basin is best on the east wall.
If ventilation is provided on the east wall it is good. A window on the south wall of the toilet also burns the negative energies of the toilet/bathroom.
The toilets should not be decorated as we decorate our other rooms.
Toilets should not be provided any dark and prominent shades. Colors like black, dark blue and red are not permissible in the toilets.
Plants can be kept in the toilets, this helps in cleansing the energies.
